Venice in one day
The tour starts in St Mark’s Square where your private tourist guide will tell you about the famous Doge’s Palace and its beautiful architecture. The tour will begin by sailing with a typical Venetian boat “la topa” through the Gran Canal while discovering its beautiful buildings and architecture. Your private guide will also tell you the history of Venice through the ride on the Gran Canal while explaining the stories that lie behind its mysterious buildings. The ride will end at St Mark’s Square, where your guide will introduce you through the St Mark’s Church, the “Procuratie”, the Clock Tower and the Bell Tower and finally the Doge’s Palace with its rich decorations and the Sight Bridge. You will then leave Saint Mark’s square to walk through some hidden alleys before reaching the Rialto Bridge. During the second part of the walking tour you are going to go through some typical Venetian Campos (squares), and your guide will tell you about the city, its architecture and lifestyle and finally you will arrive at Rialto area where the guide will tell you about the Rialto Bridge and the nearby Rialto historical market. At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel by our drivers.
The Islands of Venice: Murano, Burano and Torcello
This excursion will allow you to discover The most famous islands of the Venetian Lagoon. Throughout the tour will be followed by an expert guide, who will help you to discover the secrets of an unseen Venice. The transfers between the various islands will be carried out with typical Venetian boat: the Vaporetto. The first stop will be in the island of Murano famous all over the world for glass blowing. The second stop will be at the picturesque island of Burano, famous not only for laces, but also for the fishermen’s houses painted with bright colours: a wonderful place to spend your time along the narrow streets, which will enchant you. The Tour continues with a visit to the island of Torcello: a real jewel of the Venetian lagoon. At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel by our drivers.
